Edge 1031
Edge 1031
From an Underperforming California Asset to Cash-Flowing New Construction
Closed July 31, 2026, this project helped an investor transition an underperforming California asset held in an estate trust into cash-flowing real estate through a 1031 exchange.
The investor acquired eight Edge condos and one townhome, creating a diversified new-construction portfolio with nine total units. The original bulk closing brought eight condos into the exchange, and when additional 1031 funds became available, we went back for one townhome. Because of the bulk cash purchase and Absolute Foresight's relationships within the company, we helped negotiate a bulk cash discount for the investor.
